You don't have to go far to find plenty to do. As soon as you pass the gate, you will discover a network of marked paths and trails that offer many kilometres to explore on foot, by bike or on horseback.

Don't forget the "Sentier Pierre d'Aujourd'hui" or the "Sentier Pierre d'Hier" to discover the quarries where the stone of Vers is extracted. 


.... and then only 5km away there is the famous Roman aqueduct of the Pont du Gard, labelled "Grand Site de France", with its particularly well preserved remains.


For equestrian enthusiasts, there are about ten equestrian centres within 10 km, offering services for all ages and experience levels. 


For those who like to swim, kayak, climb or simply walk along the river, the Gorges du Gardon are just a few minutes away by car. Those who appreciate nature will be spoilt: the fauna and flora are very rich here, being a biosphere reserve, and the site is classified "Natura 2000". 

 

The Duchy of Uzès is 10 km away, it deserves to be visited for its architecture, its history, its varied and festive cultural events especially in summer, its famous Saturday market and the many restaurants. Other attractions around Uzès include the Haribo Bonbon Museum, the Golf Club d'Uzès and the water park La Bouscarasse.


The region is famous for its culinary riches. While you are out and about you will find small local producers selling their seasonal harvests along the roadside. There are many caves in the area where you can meet the wine producers and taste (and buy) the wines. The same applies with the local olive oil producers.


You can also live at the rhythm of the votive festivals of the villages and discover their taurine demonstrations.
